Also worum geht es? Es geht um ein Monster im Han-Fluss. Gleich am Anfang des Films erfahren wir die kriminelle Tat, die dazu führte, dass das Monster entstehen konnte. Diese hässliche Mutation einer Echse und eines Fischs. Und nein, es ist nicht wie im amerikanischen Kino, wo man die Hälfte des Films auf das Monster warten muss - hier bekommt man es gleich in den ersten zehn Minuten in voller Größe zu Gesicht. Das Monster greift sich das Kind des Hauptprotagonisten, der bei der Flucht, versehentlich das falsche Mädchen an die Hand genommen hat. Aber ich möchte nicht zuviel verraten. Dieser Film ist absolut Spitzenklasse. Unbedingt ansehen! Viele Überraschungen! viele komische Momente, viel tiefe Emotionen, sehr gute Charakterdarstellungen, wodurch der Film "echt" wirkt. Der größte Kinoerfolg von Südkorea bisher. Hier werden viele Filmkategorien vereint mit einer guten Portion Humor.

So what is it about? It's about a monster in the Han River. At the very beginning of the film we see the criminal act that led to the arise of the monster. This ugly mutation of a lizard and a fish. And no, it's not like in american cinema, where you have to wait half of the film to finally see the monsters - here you face it right in the first ten minutes in full-size. The monster grabbed the child of the main protagonist, who has accidentally taken the wrong girl by the hand during the getaway. But I do not want to give too much away. This movie is absolutely top class. Must see! Many surprises! many impish moments, much deep emotions, very good character representations, thereby the movie feels "real". The biggest box office success of South Korea so far. Here many film categories are combined with a good dose of humor.

Finally, a monster movie with intelligent script!
A pearl among the South Korean movies and not only for every genre fan a must-see!
