Nick Morton, a soldier and dawdler, resurrects a damned princess from ancient Egypt. She is transported to London in a sarcophagus. Through a crash of the plane (the god of death watches over Princess Ahmanet and has a great potential of vandalism), Ahmanet frees herself and sucks several lives to come to life energy ...

I would have published this film with an age recommendation of 16. For children, this film is by no means something, as some very gruesome moments take place. Soulless action film in a ruminated rehash of storytelling. No credible superhero. Only Princess Ahmanet aka Sofia Boutella is watchable with her incredible presence.

Nick Morton, ein Soldat und Tagedieb lässt eine verfluchte Prinzessin aus dem alten Ägypten wiedererwecken. Sie wird in einem Sarkophag im Flugzeug nach London transportiert. Durch einen Absturz des Flugzeugs (der Gott des Todes wacht über Prinzessin Ahmanet), befreit sich Ahmanet und saugt mehreren Menschen das Leben aus um so zu Lebensenergie zu kommen...

Ich hätte diesen  Film mit einer Altersempfehlung von 16 herausgegeben. Für Kinder ist dieser Film keineswegs etwas, da einige sehr gruslige Momente stattfinden.  Seelenloser Action-Film  in einem uralten Aufguß von Storytelling. Kein glaubwürdiger Superheld.  Einzig und allein Prinzessin Ahmanet aka Sofia Boutella reißt vieles wieder raus mit ihrer unglaublichen Präsenz.

An Overloaded with Clichés, tasteless film, which is not as funny as it wants to be. Has perhaps 2 to 3 good moments, the rest is a naff horseplay. Not recommendable. Can not rank in the typical stylistic Scandinavian black comedies ala "Adam's apples".

Edward und Ib sind beide unglückliche Ehemänner. Mit ihren Frauen läuft es nicht mehr gut. Nachdem sie einen Scheidungsanwalt aufgesucht haben, ist klar, dass von ihrem vielen Geld (dass sie auch auf illegalen Wege erwirtschaftet haben) nicht viel übrig bleibt. In besoffenen Zustand engagiert Edward über das Internet einen russischen Auftragskiller für die Frauen.  Im Gegenzug engagieren auch die Frauen einen Killer...

Klischeeüberladener, geschmackloser Film , der längst nicht so witzig ist,  wie er sein möchte.  Hat vielleicht 2 bis 3 gute  Momente, der Rest ist billiger Klamauk. Nicht empfehlenswert. Kann sich nicht einreihen in die typischen stilistischen skandinavischen schwarzen Komödien ala "Adams Äpfel".

Predictable, superficial adventure with few good ideas. Only the "online pigeons" are really funny. This film is intended for children only.

Richard, ein Spatz, wird von einer Storchenfamilie groß gezogen, da seine Eltern getötet wurden. Er glaubt fest, dass er ebenfalls ein Storch ist. Als seine Störche Richtung Afrika ziehen, und ihn zurücklassen, findet er einen Weg, mithilfe der Eule  Olga auch Richtung Afrika zu gelangen...

Vorhersehbares, oberflächliches Abenteuer mit wenig guten Einfällen. Allenfalls die "Online-Tauben" sind wirklich witzig. Nur für Kinder  ist dieser Film gedacht.

Felix and his girlfriend are converting an American school bus to a caravan. They take their Bernese mountain dog on the journey. It goes back from the States to Canada, West Coast States and then through Mexico. Actually, they still want to go to Peru, but their dog does not tolerate the climate and gets deathly ill.

Superficial travel documentation. Just as superficial as the proverbs that were placed on the bus. Not recommendable. And a pity about the mountain dog. How do you come to the idea of taking him to Mexico?

Felix und seine Freundin bauen einen amerikanische Schulbus zu einem Wohnwagen um. Sie nehmen ihren Berner Sennenhund mit auf die Reise. Es geht von den Staaten nach Canada, Westküste Staaten zurück und dann durch Mexiko. Eigentlich wollen sie noch nach Peru, aber ihr Hund verträgt das Klima nicht und wird todkrank.

Oberflächliche Reisedokumentation. Genauso oberflächlich wie die Sprüche, die im Bus angebracht worden sind.  Nicht empfehlenswert. Und schade um den Berghund. Wie kommt man nur auf die Idee, ihn nach Mexiko mitzunehmen?

Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Salazar and his crew are cursed, they are undead and imprisoned in the Devil's Triangle, where Jack  maneuvered. Jack sells his compass and so Salazar and his crew are able to sail again during daylight. Salazar wants to take revenge on Jack. 
Henry and Carina are looking for the Trident of Poseidon, because Carina has inherited a star card from her father. Henry wants to resurrect his damned father ... Jack, on the other hand, likes the rum and comes as always in all sorts of difficulties ...

Average story, but visually excellent. Jack Sparrow is, as always, the main appealing figure with his slightly confused way of behaviour. Typical popcorn cinema with one very funny moment, namely when Jack and Carina getting executed in public (of course, not really)

 Salazar und seine Besatzung sind mit einem Fluch belegt, sie sind Untote und gefangen inm Teufelsdreieck, wo Jack sie damals hinmanövriert hat. Jack verkauft seinen Kompass und dadurch  kann Salazar und seine Crew wieder weitersegeln. Salazar möchte sich an Jack rächen.  Derweilen suchen Henry und Carina nach dem Dreizack des Poseidons, weil Carina eine Sternenkarte von ihrem Vater vererbt hat, die darauf hinweist. Henry möchte damit seinen verfluchten Vater wiederbeleben... Jack hingegen frönt dem Rum und kommt wie immer in allerhand Schwierigkeiten...

Durchschnittliche Story, aber optisch hervorragend. Jack Sparrow ist wie immer der Hauptsympatieträger mit  seiner leicht verwirrten Art.  Typisches Popkornkino mit einem sehr lustigen Moment, nämlich als Jack und Carina öffentlich hingerichtet werden sollen.

Dalton and his 4 accomplices initiate a bank robbery. They capture many hostages. The bank chief engages the influential lawyer, Madeline White, to ensure that the robbers do not go to his locker, where documents certify, that he was doing business with the Nazis, and expensive artefacts from arrested Jews (Diamonds). Meanwhile, the hostage takes longer and both police and robbers are spying on each other ...

An almost intelligent thriller, which has some logic errors and few twists, but is still entertaining. Especially the sarcastic arguments are cool. A great actor cast. Jodie Foster shines again in a sober, calculating way.

Dalton und seine 4 Komplizen initiieren einen Banküberfall. Dabei nehmen sie viele Geiseln fest. Der Bankchef angagiert die einflussreiche Anwältin Madeline White , damit sie sicherstellt, dass die Räuber nicht an sein Schließfach  gehen, in dem wohl  abtrünnige Dokumente liegen- Belege, dass er damals mit den Nazis Geschäfte gemacht hat, sowie arisierte Wertgegenstände.  Derweilen dauert  die Geiselnahme immer länger und sowohl Polizei als auch Räuber bespitzeln sich gegenseitig...

Ein fast intelligenter Thriller, der  zwar  einige Logikfehler hat und wenig Twists, aber dennoch unterhaltsam ist.  Vorallem die sarkastischen Wortwechsel  sind cool. Eine tolle Schauspieler-Cast. Jodie Foster glänzt mal wieder in  einer nüchternen, berechnenden Art.
