Paul, a journalist, returns to New Zealand to attend the funeral of his father. When Paul was still a teenager, the mother had taken her life due to a bipolar disorder. Paul then disappeared from New Zealand. Andrew, his brother, accuses him of never having looked after the mother and leaving him alone. So first Paul stays in New Zealand and takes care of the estate of his father. Above all, he spends time in the den of his father, which is filled with books. He finds a photo of a baby  on whose backside is the name "Celia". Paul now teaches at the municipal high school and also has Celia as a pupil. Both become friends, both interested in literature. Celia's mother was then Paul's friend. More and more details are coming to light. Is Paul Celia's father?

 Even though the film lasts for two hours, it does not lose any tension, because you always sense something that you can catch not before the end of the film. The film is staged reserved, and gradually the links of the characters come to light. Wonderful playing are here MacFadyen and Emily Barclay.

Paul, ein Journalist, kehrt nach Neu Seeland zurück, um der Bestattung seines Vaters beizuwohnen. Als Paul noch ein Teenager war, hatte die Mutter sich das Leben genommen, aufgrund einer Bipolaren Störung. Danach verschwand Paul von Neuseeland. Andrew, sein Bruder, wirft ihm vor, sich nie gekümmert zu haben und ihn allein gelassen zu haben. Also bleibt Paul erstmal in Neuseeland und kümmert sich um den Nachlass seines Vaters. Vor allem verbringt er Zeit in der Blockhütte seines Vaters, die überfüllt ist mit Büchern. Er findet ein Photo eines Babys auf dessen Rückseite der Name "Celia" steht. Paul unterrichtet nun an der städtischen High School und hat auch Celia als Schülerinl. Beide freunden sich an, beide sind an Literatur interessiert. Celias Mutter war damals die Freundin von Paul. Nach und noch kommen immer mehr Einzelheiten ans Licht. Ist Paul Celias Vater?

Obwohl der Film über zwei Stunden andauert, verliert er nicht an Spannung, denn man wittert die ganze Zeit etwas, was man erst zum Ende des Films zu fassen bekommt. Zurückhaltend wird hier inszeniert und nach und nach Schicht um Schicht kommen die Verknüpfungen der Charaktere ans Licht. Wunderbar spielen hier MacFadyen und Emily Barclay.

Olive, inevitably invents a lie, in the face of her best school friend. She would have slept with the (invented) George. This false message about her lost virginity spreads quickly like a runfire. At school, "The Scarlet Letter" is being treated in the classroom, in this work is discussed an adulteress who is expelled by the society. This woman has to wear an A on her top. Soon, Olive invents even more rumors for which she is paid with money or vouchers, but which give her the stamp of the "little bitch". From defiance, she also carries the letter "A" on her chest ....

 A very stupid film, which spoofes the tragedy of real bullying. In addition: characters drawn to grimaces, which underlines the missing message of the film.

Olive, erfindet notgedrungen, gegenüber ihrer besten Schulfreundin eine Notlüge. Sie hätte mit dem (erfundenen) George geschlafen. Schnell verbreitet sich diese Falschmeldung über ihre verlorene Jüngfräulichkeit wie ein Lauffeuer. In der Schule wird im Unterricht gerade "Der scharlachrote Buchstabe" behandelt, in dem Werk wird eine Ehebrecherin thematisiert, die von der Gesellschaft ausgestoßen wird. Diese Frau muss ein A auf ihrem Oberteil tragen. Bald erfindet Olive noch mehr Gerüchte für die sie mit Geld oder Gutscheinen bezahlt wird, aber die ihr den Stempel des "Flittchens" geben. Aus Trotz zieht sie entsprechende Sachen an und trägt ebenfalls den Buchstaben "A" auf ihrer Brust....

 Ein sehr dummer Film, der die Tragik von echtem Mobbing verballhornt.  Noch dazu: zu Fratzen gezogene Charaktere, die die fehlende Message des Filmes noch unterstreichen.

19-year-old Lili comes home after a holiday trip in the summer and hears that her twin brother has disappeared. Nervously, Lili is waiting for a call back from her brother. Her parents seem to be doing too little to find Loic. Lili gets more and more depressed and stops eating. She is then admitted to a psychiatric clinic. There they take away the Diskman, the books and also her mobile phone. Even her parents are not allowed to visit her. An attempt by her friends to "secretly" save her from the hospital, but Lili is very weak on the legs and the nurses pick her up. Later she receives a letter from her brother and begins eating again. When she is at home she learns through postcards, where Lois is staying and travels there to find him ...

An emotional thriller with a strong dreary tone. If there was not the decisive twist at the end of the film and Lili's stay in the clinic, the film would not be worth seeing.

 
Die 19-jährige Lili kommt im Sommer nach einer Ferienfahrt nach Hause und erfährt, dass ihr Zwillingsbruder verschwunden ist. Nervös wartet Lili auf einen Rückruf von ihrem Bruder. Ihre Eltern scheinen ihrer Meinung nach zu wenig zutun, um Loic wiederzufinden. Lili wird immer depressiver und hört mit dem Essen auf. Daraufhin wird sie in eine psychiatrische Klinik eingewiesen. Dort nimmt man ihr den Diskman, die Bücher und auch ihr Handy weg. Auch ihre Eltern dürfen sie nicht besuchen. Es folgt ein Versuch ihrer Freunde, sie heimlich aus dem Krankenhaus zu "retten", doch Lili ist sehr schwach auf den Beinen und die Pfleger holen die drei ein. Endlich bekommt sie einen Brief von ihrem Bruder und fängt auch wieder an zu essen. Als sie dann zuhause ist erfährt sie durch Postkarten, wo Lois sich aufhält und reist dorthin, um ihn aufzuspüren...

Ein Gefühlsthriller mit starkem tristen Grundton. Wäre da nicht der entscheidende Twist am Ende des Filmes und Lili's Aufenthalt in der Klinik, wäre der Film nicht sehenswert.

Gerade als eine Partnerschaft mit einem Unternehmen anfängt und J.C. eigentlich noch mehr arbeiten müsste, kommt ihr etwas in die Quere: Verwandte, die gestorben sind, hinterlassen ihr ein Kind. Sie gibt sie zu Adoptiveltern ab, aber als sie sieht, wie diese sich aufführen, nimmt sie das Kind wieder an sich. Zusehends vernachlässigt sie ihren Job und ihr Posten wird ranglich niedriger. Als sie nur noch für Hundefutter zuständig sein soll, kündigt sie ihren Job und zieht in ihr Traumhaus in Vermont...

Eine seichte Komödie mit mehreren Überraschungseffekten mit einer wunderbaren Diane Keaton.

Richard and Sheryl Hoover, their children Dwayne and Olive, as well as Sheryls brother Frank and grandfather Edwin go into an old VW bus to go to Los Angeles, where the little olive would like to participate at a beauty contest. The dance steps have been brought to her by Grandpa Edwin, who is addicted to heroin. Frank had to come along because he needed constant supervision since his suicide attempt and the insurance no longer paid him for psychiatry. Dwayne's peculiarity is his silence vow that should last until he is hired by the Air Force. By the way father Richard tries to bring his motivation book to a publisher and always annoys with his "winning talk" ...

The family has ordinary stress and precisely this naturalness and diversity of the characters, which are all very dear to you - this distinguishes the comedy. But it is a comedy with rather with smirking- effects, not with loud laughs. A successful road movie with daring scenes that surprise.

Richard und Sheryl Hoover , ihre Kinder Dwayne und Olive, sowie Sheryls Bruder Frank und der Großvater Edwin begeben sich in einen alten VW-Bus, um nach Los Angeles zu fahren,  wo die kleine Olive bei einem Schönheitswettbewerb mitmachen möchte. Die Tanzschritte hat sie von Opa Edwin beigebracht bekommen, welcher von Heroin abhängig ist. Frank musste mitkommen, weil er seit seinem Suizidversuch ständige Aufsicht braucht und die Versicherung ihn nicht länger  in der Psychiatrie bezahlt hätte. Dwayne's Besonderheit ist sein Schweigegelübde, dass solange anhalten soll, bis er bei der Air Force anheuert.  Vater Richard  versucht seine Motivationsliteratur an einen Verlag zu bringen und nervt immer mal wieder mit seinem "Gewinner-Gerede"...

 Die Familie hat gewöhnlichen Stress und gerade diese Natürlichkeit und Unterschiedlichkeit der Charaktere, die man alle sehr lieb gewinnt, zeichnet diese Komödie aus. Aber es ist eine Komödie mit Schmunzel-Effekten, nicht mit lauten Lachern. Ein gelungener Road-Movie mit wagemutigen Szenen, die überraschen. 

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

In 1929 the english magician and expert for fantastic animals Newt Scamander reaches the port of New York. He plans to bring his animal (one of many!), hidden in a suitcase, to Arizona, where it has its natural habitat. But he is caught by the ex-Auror Tina Goldstein, as he forgets to obligate a non-magician Jacob Kowalski (No majs) - also known as Muggles under Harry Potter connoiseurs- and now he has to go to the MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), who is very worried at this time that the wizarding community is busting at the No-majs, as a terrible monster is in the streets of New York and causes disaster. It is assumed that these acts are connected with the incidents around the dreaded Grindelwald. Newt discovers that he has the wrong suitcase and the no-maj Kowalski has his suitcase. Kowalski has intentionally released many of the fantastic animal creatures and now Newt and Tina is looking for them ...

 The americanized form (or "marvelized") of a Harry Potter movie is booming with action and little fun, with meanwhile unfinished character presentations and a long-drawn-out crowded scenes of spectacle. There are also some inconsistencies, who pays close attention, notes it. Furthermore, it is disappointing to note that there are no new spells. There is one rating-point for the representation of the fabulous beasts. 



1929 erreicht der englische Magier und Experte für phantastische Tierwesen Newt Scamander den Hafen von New York. Er plant sein im Koffer verstecktes Tier (eines von vielen!) bis nach Arizona zu bringen, wo es seinen natürlichen Lebensraum hat. Doch er wird von der Ex-Aurorin Tina Goldstein erwischt, wie er vergisst einen Nichtzauberer Jacob Kowalski (No majs) - unter Harry Potter Kundigen auch als Muggels bezeichnet - zu oblivieren (mit einem "Vergessenszauber" zu belegen) und nun muss er bei den MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) vorsprechen, welcher in diesen Zeiten hochbesorgt ist, dass die Zauberergemeinschaft bei den No-majs auffliegt, da sich ein schreckliches Ungetüm in den Straßen von New York befindet und Unheil stiftet. Man vermutet dass diese Taten mit den Vorkommnissen um den gefürchteten Grindelwald in Verbindung stehen. Newt entdeckt indes, dass er den falschen Koffer besitzt und der No-maj Kowalski seinen Koffer besitzt. Kowalski hat ohne Absicht viele der phantastischen Tierwesen freigelassen und nun begibt sich Newt und Tina auf die Suche nach ihnen...


 Die amerikanisierte Form (bzw. "marvelisierte") eines Harry Potter Films dröhnt vor Action-Getöse und wenig Spaß, bei unterdes unausgearbeiteten Charakterdarstellungen und einer strapazösen Langatmigkeit bei trotzdem überfüllten Szenen von Spektakel. Es treten auch einige Ungereimtheiten auf, wer genau aufpasst, bemerkt sie. Des weiteren ist enttäuschend anzumerken, dass keine neuen Zaubersprüche vorkommen. Einen Punkt gibt es für die Darstellung der Fabelwesen.

 The old man, Felix, lives completely secluded in a wooden hut for 40 years. In the nearby village, there are many stories about him who do not speak precisely for Felix. Felix wants to borrow his own burial ceremony and speaks to the local funeral home of Frank Quinn. such an idea had no one yet, but since Felix presents a big bundle of money, Frank starts enthusiastically with the preparations. Everyone who has a story to tell about it is invited. He also wants to start raffling his property. He has something to say. Something that has burned him on the soul for forty years, and therefore he could not receive forgiveness.

Aaron Schneider's dark-lighted folk tale  comes around with a mournful sentiment, which gets a little lifted by the performance of Bill Murray.  A  coherent movie about  the consequences of mortal compunction and the hope of redemption.

Der alte Mann, Felix, lebt völlig abgeschieden in einer Holzhütte seit 40 Jahren. Im nahegelegen Dorf erzählt man sich viele Geschichten über ihn, die nicht gerade für Felix sprechen. Felix möchte seine eigene Begräbniszeremonie anleihern und spricht bei dem örtlichen Bestattungsunternehmen von Frank Quinn vor. So eine Idee hatte noch niemand, aber da Felix ein großes Bündel Geld vorlegt, fängt Frank begeistert mit den Vorbereitungen an. Jeder, der eine Geschichte über ihn zu erzählen hat ist eingeladen. Außerdem möchte er eine Tombola starten, die sein Anwesen verlost. Er hat auch etwas zu sagen. Etwas, dass ihm seit 40 Jahren auf der Seele brennt, und er deshalb noch keine Vergebung empfangen konnte. 

Aaron Schneiders dunkel-belichtete Folk-Geschichte ist beherrscht durch eine Schwermütigkeit, die durch die Darstellung von Bill Murray ein wenig gemildert wird. Ein stimmiger Film  über die Konsequenzen von  starken Gewissensbissen und die Hoffnung auf Vergebung.

Death of a Superhero

The cancer-patient Donald is on war with his environment and his parents. As he feels himself doomed, he does balancing on the bridge, or jumping off a train at the last moment. His parents send him to various psychiatrists, to whom he comes boldly. It is only with Dr. Adrian King that he gradually understands and builds a friendly relationship. Donald wants a girlfriend, but most of them can not imagine a relationship with the death-sick. Until he meets Shelly ...

A cancer drama that does not rely on pathos and is traced with cartoon-comic sequences that Donald has drawn, or represent his imagination. The character representations are very realistic and not overstated. Worth seeing. 

Der krebskranke Donald ist auf Kriegsfuß mit seiner Umwelt und seinen Eltern. Da er sich dem Tode geweiht fühlt, macht es ihm nichts aus auf dem Brückengeländer zu balancieren oder im letzten Moment vor einem Zug wegzuspringen. Seine Eltern schicken ihn zu verschiedenen Psychiatern, denen er frech kommt. Erst mit Dr. Adrian King versteht er sich allmählich und sie bauen eine freundschaftliche Beziehung auf. Donald wünscht sich eine Freundin, doch die meisten können sich eine Beziehung mit dem Todkranken nicht vorstellen. Bis er auf Shelly trifft...

 Ein Krebsdrama, das nicht auf Pathos setzt und mit Trickfilm-Comic-Sequenzen durchzogen ist, die Donald gezeichnet hat, bzw. seine Fantasie darstellen.  Die Charakterdarstellungen sind sehr realistisch und nicht  überzeichnet.  Sehenswert.

5 small figurines in Riley's "command center" (brain) provide joy, anger, grief, disgust, fear. When her family travels to San Fransisco, everything gets mixed up. Joy and sadness are lost in Riley's head and now she has to get along without the two. She misses her old friends, her hockey team, and anyway her whole old environment. Meanwhile, the figures joy and grief experience a great adventure in Riley's head.

A clever child and adult film, which is based on the latest emotions research. Pixar is once again a gem succeeded.

5 kleine Figürchen in Rileys "Kommandozentrale" (Gehirn) sorgen für die Basisemotionen Freude, Wut, Trauer, Ekel, Angst. Als  ihre Familie nach San Fransisco fährt, gerät alles durcheinander. Freude und Trauer verlaufen sich in Rileys Kopf und nun muss sie erstmal ohne die beiden auskommen. Sie vermisst ihre alten Freunde, ihr Eishockey-Team  und sowieso ihr ganzes altes Umfeld. Derweilen erleben die Figuren Freude und Trauer ein großes Abenteuer in ihrem Kopf.

Ein kluger Kinder- und Erwachsenenfilm, dem die neueste Emotionsforschung zu Grunde liegt. Pixar ist mal wieder ein Juwel gelungen.

Office Space

Peter works with little enthusiasm at a computer company. After a visit to a hypnotist, his work behavior changes and he appears with more self-confidence, determined not to be intimidated by his employer and to do nothing as much as possible. After a conversation with a company consultant, he is even promoted to the team leader. In the meantime, he meets the waitress Joanna, in which he is in love for a long time. After it is announced that many of the lay-offs of his employees are pending, Peter and his mates have a fabulous plan to enrich themselves and harm the company without anyone knowing about it.

This comedy elicits little more than a smile. As a comedy failed, rather a revenge act against box office work. 

Peter arbeitet mit nur wenig Elan bei einer Computerfirma. Nach einem Besuch bei einem Hypnotiseur ändert sich sein Arbeitsverhalten und er tritt mit mehr Selbstbewusstsein auf, fest entschlossen sich nicht mehr von seinem Arbeitgeber einschüchtern zu lassen und möglichst nichts zutun. Nach einem Gespräch mit einem Unternehmensberater wird er durch seine offene Art sogar zum Teamleiter befördert. Unterdessen trifft er sich mit der Kellnerin Joanna, auf die er schon lange ein Auge geworfen hatte. Nachdem bekannt wird, das viele Entlassungen seiner Mitarbeiter anstehen, hegen Peter und seine Kumpels einen tollkühnenPlan aus, um sich zu bereichern und der Firma zu schaden, ohne das jemand etwas davon erfahren wird. 

Diese Komödie entlockt kaum mehr als ein Schmunzeln. Als Komödie gescheitert, eher ein Racheakt gegen Box-Office-Arbeit.

Against the Sun

This film is based on a true story. The three Navy airmen crash during the Second World War with their torpedo bomber on the sea because one of them had fallen asleep. Since they could not save the most important things to survive, they have to improvise how they get to water and food.

Solid performance, but seen everything before.
 
Dieser Film basiert auf einer wahren Begebenheit. Die drei Navy-Flieger stürzen während des zweiten Weltkrieges mit ihrem Torpedo-Bomber auf dem Meer ab, weil einer von ihnen eingeschlafen war. Da sie die wichtigsten Dinge zum Überleben nicht retten konnten, müssen sie improvisieren, wie sie zu Wasser und Essen gelangen. 

Solide Performance, aber alles schon einmal gesehen.

 

Everything must go

Nick Halsey loses his job and his wife. When he shows up on his estate, all his belongings are scattered on the lawn. He starts drinking again and sits on the chair in front of his house. His attorney instructs him to make a flea market and he gets support from a boy from the neighborhood.

This film is neither really tragic nor fun. And Will Ferrell, the slapstick comedian is for this role misplaced.

Nick Halsey verliert seinen Job und seine Frau. Als er auf seinem Anwesen auftaucht, ist sein gesamtes Hab und Gut auf dem Rasen verstreut. Er fängt wieder an zu trinken und sitzt auf dem Sessel vor seinem Haus. Sein Anwalt beauftragt ihn damit, einen Flohmarkt daraus zu machen und er bekommt Unterstützung von einem Jungen aus der Nachbarschaft. 

Dieser Film ist weder richtig tragisch, noch richtig lustig. Und Will Ferrell, der Slapstick-Komiker für diese Rolle falsch besetzt.

St. Vincent

But Oliver's father finds this out and wants to be given joint custody. Now, Oliver can not stay with Vincent. In the meantime, Vincent has a stroke, and his wife dies...


A warm, big-hearted film, which serves many clichés and becomes a bit too sentimental in the end, but only a mediocre Bill-Murray film. Naomi Watts plays excellent again. 

Vincent, ein unsymphatischer Kauz und Veteran muss für seine Nachbarin Babysitten, da diese in langen Schichten im Krankenhaus arbeitet. Oliver und Vincent freunden sich an, gehen zusammen Pferdewetten und in die Bar. Doch Olivers Vater findet das heraus und möchte dadurch ein gemeinsames Sorgerecht erhalten. Ab nun darf Oliver nicht bei Vincent bleiben. Unterdessen erfährt Vincent einen Schlaganfall, zudem stirbt seine Frau....

Ein warmer, großherziger Film, der zwar viele Klischees bedient und ein bisschen zu sentimental wird am Ende, aber nur ein mittelmäßiger Bill-Murray Film. Naomi Watts spielt mal wieder hervorragend.

Das eigenartige ist, dass  für Michael alle Menschen die gleiche Stimme haben und das gleiche Gesicht. Sogar seine Frau und sein Sohn.  The stranded Hank wants end his life on the bank of an uninhabited area, until a shackled corpse, which constantly farts, excites his attention. He discovers that, using this fart, sitting on the corpse, he drifts forward rapidly in the water. A friendship develops between them. And Manny, the corpse, begins to talk. Thereby rough jokes are paired with philosophy.

The film makes sense only as grotesque. The background music is beautifull. The film searches for a solution for Manny, which is not found. And warning spoilers: Unless he is destined to glide over the sea by farting.


Der gestrandete Hank möchte sich am Ufer eines unbewohnten Gebietes das Leben nehmen, bis eine ans Ufer getriebene Leiche, die ständig furzt, seine Aufmerksamkeit erregt. Er entdeckt, dass er mithilfe dieser Furze, auf der Leiche sitzend, schnell im Wasser vorwärtstreibt. Es entwickelt sich eine Freundschaft zwischen ihnen. Und Manny, die Leiche, beginnt zu reden. Dabei paaren sich derbe Witze mit Philosophie.

Der Film macht nur als Groteske Sinn. Die Hintergrundmusik ist schön. Muss man sich aber nicht ansehen, denn er strebt innerlich immer nach einer Lösung für Manny, die nicht gefunden wird. Und Achtung Spoiler: Es sei denn er ist dafür bestimmt furzend übers Meer zu gleiten.

Frank, Spüli, Pommes and Mücke are 4 young friends from the Ruhrpott of the 80s and in love with Carola. Several strategies to conquer her miserably fail. In the meantime, the story is shown how Frank's father wins his wife. But also when dancing, as Frank's father did, the guys show up rather untalented. So a school trip convenient to them...

Also the guest appearances of Ralf Richter and Elke Heidenreich does not help enough to give the film a special note. The character presentation of the four main protagonists is boring and unworked. A trivial "American Pie" variant from the German West of the 80s.
 
Frank, Spüli, Pommes und Mücke sind 4  jugendliche Freunde aus dem Ruhrpott der 80er Jahre und in  Carola verschossen. Mehrere  Strategien sie aufzureißen scheitern kläglich.  Zwischendurch wird die Geschichte gezeigt, wie Franks Vater seine Frau für sich gewinnt. Aber auch beim Tanzen, wie es Franks Vater tat, zeigen sich die Jungs eher unbegabt.  Da kommt ein Schulausflug gelegen...

Auch die Gastauftritte von Ralf Richter und Elke Heidenreich helfen nicht genug, dem Film eine besondere Note zu geben. Die Charakterdarstellung der vier Hauptprotagonisten ist langweilig und unausgearbeitet. Eine triviale "American Pie"-Variante aus dem deutschen Westen der 80er Jahre.

The film, shot in a black-and-white, tells of a day in the life of Niko, a student who is quite a bit unfortunate: his father quits the money transfer, he gets caught up in a brawl, He also experiences an old man's heart attack.

Beautiful pictures, beautiful music. A tender film about the search for meaning of life of an unemployed metropolitan.

Der in schwarz-weiß gedrehte Film, erzählt von einem Tag im Leben des Studienabbrechers Niko, einem Berliner, dem ziemlich  viel Pech passiert: Sein Vater dreht ihm den Geldhahn zu, er wird von S-Bahn-Kontrolleuren erwischt, gerät in eine Schlägerei, außerdem  erlebt er , wie ein alter Mann einen Herzinfarkt erleidet. 

Schöne Bilder, schöne Musik. Ein liebevoller Film über die Sinnsuche eines arbeitslosen Großstädtlers.

Two corrupt policemen drive drunken through New Mexico, extort criminals, scrap cars, and take cocaine. Their boss gives them a "last chance". This does not impress them in the least, but then they get on a rather hot track.

Violence-glorifying, but exciting. The performance of Caleb Landry Jones is outstanding.

Zwei korrupte Polizisten  ziehen betrunken durch New Mexico, erpressen Kriminelle, schrotten Autos und nehmen Kokain zu sich.  Ihr Chef gibt ihnen noch eine "letzte Chance".  Dies beeindruckt sie nicht im geringsten, doch dann geraten sie auf eine ziemlich heiße Fährte. 

Gewaltverherrlichend, aber spannend. Die Leistung von Caleb Landry Jones ist hervorragend.

Jacob, a millionaire wants to put an end to his life, but fails in implementation. There he discovers a company that makes life-threatening people the way to the afterlife. He announces himself and waits when he dies. He meets Anne, falls in love, and wants to cancel his "journey". This is not achieved as planned.

Georgina Verbaan, her later role - I`m not byuing that! Which is why the film loses credibility. 

Jacob, ein Millionär, möchte seinem Leben ein Ende bereiten, scheitert aber bei der Durchführung. Da entdeckt er eine Firma, die lebensverdrossenen  Menschen  den Weg zum Jenseits bereiten. Er meldet sich an und ist ab sofort am Warten, wann denn nun er stirbt. Da begegnet er Anne, verliebt sich, und möchte seine "Reise" stornieren. Dies gelingt nicht so wie geplant.

Georgina Verbaan nimmt man ihre spätere Rolle nicht ab, weshalb der Film an Glaubwürdigkeit verliert.
