 Dies ist der dritte MadMax film. Max  wird von der Bartertown-Chefin angeleitet den zweiten Chef aus dem Untergrund zu entkräften. Es kommt zu einem Duell in einem großen Käfig, der Donnerkuppel, mit eigenartigen Spielregeln.  Doch das ist erst das erste Spiel...

Ein stimmiger Endzeitfilm mit einem starken Mel Gibson und einer strengen Tina Turner. Die Rollen sind gut besetzt und der Film erzeugt konstant eine Grundspannung. Ideenreich umgesetzt.

Wilson is melancholic, because his wife has committed suicide. His way to cope or displace this bad experience is to inhale gasoline. He buys at petrol stations conspicuously small amounts of gasoline and pretends to be interested in model airplanes, so he can get his fuel. There are some sad-funny incidents happening and Wilson wants to find the right moment/the courage to open his wife's farewell letter.

Philip Seymour plays impressively and very convincingly. Likewise, Mr. Kathy Bates. It is a pleasure to watch these two actors. A really good movie, of which there are too few today. With Philip Seymour we have lost one of the best actors of his generation. You never discover that he is acting. An extremely gifted talent. An exceptional artist and anyone who loves this actor should take a look at Love Liza. However, I would raise the age limit for drug abuse to 16 years.

Wilson ist melancholisch, weil seine Frau Suizid begangen hat. Sein Weg damit fertig zu werden, bzw. diese schlimme Erfahrung zu verdrängen ist, Benzin zu inhalieren. Er kauft bei Tankstellen auffällig kleine Mengen Benzin und gibt vor sich für Modellflugzeuge zu interessieren, damit er an seinen Treibstoff herankommt. Es passieren ein paar traurig-lustige Vorfälle und Wilson möchte den richtigen Moment finden/den Mut, den Abschiedsbrief seiner Frau zu öffnen.

Philip Seymour spielt eindrucksvoll und sehr überzeugend. Ebenso Mr. Kathy Bates. Es ist eine Freude diesen beiden Schauspielern zuzuschauen. Ein wirklich guter Film, von denen es heutzutage zu wenig gibt. Mit Philip Seymour haben wir einen der besten Schauspieler seiner Generation verloren. Man entdeckt niemals, dass er schauspielert. Ein äußerst begnadetes Talent. Ein Ausnahmekünstler und jeder der diesen Schauspieler liebt, sollte sich Love Liza anschauen. Allerdings würde ich die Altersbeschränkung wegen des Drogenmissbrauchs auf 16 Jahre hochsetzen.

Vader grows up as an only child with her father, who leads a funeral home. She visits the doctor on a regular basis, as she seems to be suffering from many serious illnesses, whose names she reads as the cause of death on the papers of the dead. Otherwise Vader is a happy child and spends her summer holidays with Thomas. However, she is incurably in love with her  teacher and therefore she would like to participate in the holiday writer's course ...

A really very lovingly designed film that is strictly romantic transfigured. Beautiful light, a wonderfully playing Anna Chlumsky and an outstanding Dan Aykroyd, who crystallizes his character really well without exaggeration. It's a warm family movie that takes the topic of farewell to heart without becoming pathetic. 

 Vader wächst als Einzelkind bei Ihrem Vater auf, welcher ein Bestattungsunternehmen zuhause führt. Sie besucht regelmäßig den Doktor, da Sie anscheinend immer wieder an schlimmen Erkrankungen leidet, deren Namen sie als Todesursache auf den Papieren der Toten liest. Ansonsten ist Vader ein glückliches Kind und verbringt ihre Sommerferien mit Thomas.  Jedoch ist sie unheilbar in ihren Deutschlehrer verknallt und deshalb möchte sie unbedingt beim Ferien-Schriftstellerkurs teilnehmen...

Ein wirklich sehr liebevoll gestalteter Film, der  streng romantisch verklärt ist. Wunderschönes Licht, eine wunderbar spielende Anna Chlumsky und ein herausragender Dan Aykroyd, der seine Figur  wirklich  gut  kristallisiert ohne Übertreibungen. Es ist ein  warmherziger Familienfilm, der sich das Thema Abschied  zu Herzen nimmt , ohne Pathetisch zu werden.

Renegade, hard, psychopathic. Nothing for weak nerves. The end slips your slippers away. Blondie plays first class! Norman Reedus is also very convincing.  - THRILLING!

Ein junger Mann wird von seiner Mutter psychopathisch umklammert und driftet in die Unterwelt. Er findet einen Weg seiner Wut Luft zu machen, jedoch auf sehr kriminelle Art. Eine Freundin in seinem Leben akzeptiert die Mutter nicht und dann kommt es zum Showdown.

Abtrünnig, hart, psychopathisch. Nichts für schwache Nerven. Das Ende haut einem die Latschen weg. Blondie spielt erste Klasse! Auch Norman Reedus spielt sehr überzeugend.  - SPANNEND!

Although death is the main theme of this film, it is a shallow, pleasant Sunday afternoon movie. A film from life, very grounded and not oversubscribed.

Ein Familienstamm wird zusammengefügt, es dreht sich alles um männliche Protagonisten vom Urgroßvater bis zum Urenkel.  Jason und sein Sohn sowie Jason's Opa leben zusammen. Als Der Großvater stirbt  und sein Sohn, also Jasons Vater auftaucht  nähert sich die Familie  wieder aneinander während des  vorgeschriebenen unkonventionellen Zeremoniell der Beerdigung...

Obwohl Tod das Hauptthema dieses Filmes ist, ist er ein seichter, angenehmer Sonntagnachmittagfilm. Ein Film aus dem Leben, sehr geerdet und nicht überzeichnet.

Jonathan, a village boy who is still very green behind the ears, goes to a preparatory college for the university. In his dorm, he shares a room with Skip, who is always in a good mood and fools Jonathan on the first day. Jonathan counters in turn and both become friends. When Jonathan got trouble with the girls' school, Skip prepares a blind date for him in Chicago, though he can not accept, that Jonathan is still a virgin.

For adolescent boys, this film is certainly a ripper, for it feeds specified sex fantasies. From a filmological point of view, however, this film is not relevant any further. 

Jonathan, ein Dorfjunge der noch sehr grün hinter den Ohren ist, geht auf ein Vorbereitungscollege für die Universität. In seinem Wohnheim teilt er sich ein Zimmer mit Skip, der ständig zu streichen aufgelegt ist und Jonathan gleich am ersten Tag gehörig reinlegt. Jonathan kontert aber seinerseits und beide werden Freunde. Als Jonathan es sich mit der Mädchenschule verscherzt macht Skip für ihn ein Blind-Date bereit in Chicago, da Jonathan noch Jungfrau ist.

Für pubertierende Jungs ist dieser Film sicherlich ein Reißer, da er eine bestimmte Sexfantasie füttert. Filmwissenschaftlich betrachtet ist dieser Film aber nicht weiter relevant.

 Atilio , ein Literaturprofessor  ist Hals über Kopf in die Schriftstellerin Vittoria verliebt und in seinen Träumen malt er sich auf verschiedenste skurrile Arten die Hochzeit mit ihr aus. Im wahren Leben folgt er ihr heimlich rund um den Globus. Doch Vittoria weist ihn ab und hält ihn für aufdringlich. Als Vittoria  währrend des Irak-Krieges nach Badgad reist um dort einen Schriftsteller zu interviewen,  wird sie schwer verletzt. Als Atilio das erfährt, reist er nach Bagdad und versucht alles Menschenmögliche um Vittoria zu heilen...

Benigni spielt sich selbst. Nervös, extrovertiert und leichtfüßig verkörpert er einen unbedarften und naiven Poeten, der sich in große Gefahr begibt um seine Angebete zu retten. Schelmisch und untröstlich  putzig!

Queen Ravenna rules the kingdom with callous intransigence, forming an army to expand her empire. She dictates killing parents and kidnapping their children. The kids get drilled and trained in fighting techniques. Rayenna's sister, who seems more human, get's unexpectedly pregnant, but then something cruel happens ... 

With a few woven Snow White elements, this fairy tale, which focuses mainly on action, tells a very old parable about the power of love. Especially the rather inconspicuous moments are beautifully staged here. The dwarfs give certain amount of wit in the right moments towards this rather heavy-hearted subject. Emily Blunt manages only just delivering the required emotional coldness, but Charlize Theron once again above all others enthrones in her acting performance.

 Königin Ravenna herrscht mit gefühlloser Unnachgiebigkeit über das Königreich und bildet eine Armee aus um ihr Reich auszuweiten. Es werden dafür Eltern getötet und ihre Kinder entführt.  Sie werden gedrillt und in Kampftechniken ausgebildet. Rayenna's Schwester, die doch menschlicher erscheint, wird unverhofft schwanger, doch dann passiert etwas grausames...

Mit ein paar eingeflochtenen Schneewitchen Elementen erzählt dieses Märchen, welches sehr auf Action setzt eine sehr alte Parabel über die Kraft der Liebe. Besonders die eher unscheinbaren Momente wirken hier sehr schön inszeniert. Die Zwerge geben dem schwermütigen Stoff eine gewisse Gewitztheit . Emily Blunt schafft gerade so die geforderte Gefühlskälte darzubieten, doch Charlize Theron  thront in ihrer schauspielerischen Leistung mal wieder vor allen anderen.
