A family tree is put together, it's all about male protagonists from great-grandfather to great-grandchild. Jason and his son and Jason's grandfather are living together. When the grandfather dies and his son, Jason's father, shows up, the family approaches during the prescribed unconventional ceremonial of the funeral ...

Although death is the main theme of this film, it is a shallow, pleasant Sunday afternoon movie. A film from life, very grounded and not oversubscribed.

Ein Familienstamm wird zusammengefügt, es dreht sich alles um männliche Protagonisten vom Urgroßvater bis zum Urenkel.  Jason und sein Sohn sowie Jason's Opa leben zusammen. Als Der Großvater stirbt  und sein Sohn, also Jasons Vater auftaucht  nähert sich die Familie  wieder aneinander während des  vorgeschriebenen unkonventionellen Zeremoniell der Beerdigung...

Obwohl Tod das Hauptthema dieses Filmes ist, ist er ein seichter, angenehmer Sonntagnachmittagfilm. Ein Film aus dem Leben, sehr geerdet und nicht überzeichnet.
