In the year 2040. The world is heavily overpopulated. Through gene food women get more and more multiple births. Nicolette Cayman introduces a one-child policy. Each other sibling child is moved into "Cryosleep" and gets awakened again, when the world isn't so strongly populated anymore. Karen Settman gets sieves and dies at birth. The children are named by the Grandpa after the weekdays and leave the house only on the day after which they are called. Outside, all act as a single person. Every day they consult each other, what happened outside, so that no one comes up with the idea, here are several people. As a child passes an accident and loses a fingertip, the grandfather will also cut the fingers of each child to make them look identical. Later, when they are grown up and the grandpa is already dead, they get into trouble as Monday falls out of line ...

A dystopian thriller, which psychologically shines in the first hour, but then unloads in pure action in the second half. The film has some logic errors in the middle of the movie. Noomi Rapace plays her 7 roles well. Good entertainment!

Im Jahr 2040. Die Welt ist stark überbevölkert. Durch Gen-Essen entstehen immer mehr Mehrlingsgeburten.  Nicolette Cayman führt eine Ein-Kind-Politik ein. Jedes weitere Geschwisterkind wird in "Cryoschlaf" versetzt und wird dann erst wieder aufgeweckt, wenn die Welt nicht mehr so  stark bevölkert ist. Karen Settman bekommt Siebenlinge  und stirbt bei der Geburt. Die Kinder werden vom Opa nach den Wochentagen benannt und  dürfen nur an dem jeweiligen Tag, nach dem sie heißen, das Haus verlassen. Draußen agieren alle als eine einzige Person. Jeden Tag muss Rücksprache gehalten werden, was draußen passiert ist, damit niemand auf die Idee kommt, hier handelt es sich um mehrere Personen. Als einem Kind ein Unfall passiert und dabei eine Fingerkuppe verliert wird der Opa jedem Kind ebenfalls die Fingerkuppe abschneiden, damit sie identisch aussehen. Später, als sie erwachsen sind und der Opa schon tot, geraten sie in Schwierigkeiten, als Monday aus der Reihe fällt...

Ein dystopischer Thriller, der in der ersten Stunde psychologisch brilliert, sich dann aber in der zweiten Hälfte in reine Action entlädt. Der Film hat einige Logikfehler in der Mitte des Films. Noomi Rapace spielt ihre 7 Rollen gut. Gute Unterhaltung!

Berlin 1989. Anne wants to start with a fake pass to West-Germany. Meanwhile, her father plays the role of Erich Honecker at the theater. When Anne travels to Leipzig to attend the Mondays demonstration, her father is very worried, because this time there will be tanks there ...

Cheap farce, without rhyme or reason. Badly worked out screenplay, so the film is hardly really funny and just looks silly. The viewer isn't bounded by the plot. It would have been enough to broadcast this film on TV only. Absolutely no cinema potential.

Berlin 1989. Anne möchte mit einem gefälschten Pass nach Westdeutschland losstarten. Indes spielt ihr Vater am Theater die Rolle von Erich Honecker.   Als Anne zur Montagsdemonstration reist  nach Leipzig, macht sich ihr Vater große Sorgen, weil diesmal dort Panzer fahren  sollen...

Billige Klamotte, ohne Grund und Boden. Schlecht ausgearbeitet Drehbuch, sodass der Film kaum wirklich lustig ist und einfach nur albern wirkt. Der Zuschauer wird vom Plot nicht gefesselt.  Es hätte gereicht, diesen Film nur im Fernsehen auszustrahlen. Absolut kein Kino-Potenzial.

Richard is a Scottish undertaker. At a funeral, he meets Barbara, who came from Los Angeles. They spend a nice day with each other, but when she leaves, he has no address from her. He finds a matchbox of her on which her working address is indicated. He immediately sets off for Los Angeles and rents a dingy apartment. He tries to conquer Barbara for himself, but soon realizes that she already has a friend who organizes film roles for her. To earn money, Richard starts to clean pools ... will he be able to win Barbara for himself?

Pleasant date movie. A dabbling film. Not special, no new ideas. Typical romance. Now and then funny. Johnny Depp has a cameo appearance.

Richard ist schottischer Bestattungsunternehmer. Bei einer Beerdigung lernt er Barbara kennen, die aus Los Angeles eingeflogen kam. Sie verbringen einen schönen Tag miteinander, doch als sie wieder fortgeht, hat er keine Adresse von ihr. Er findet eine Streichholzschachtel von ihr auf der ihre Arbeitsadresse angegeben ist. Sofort macht er sich auf nach Los Angeles und mietet eine schäbige Wohnung. Er versucht Barbara für sich zu erobern, doch bemerkt bald, dass diese schon einen Freund hat, der für sie Filmrollen organisiert. Um Geld zu verdienen fängt Richard an Pools zu reinigen... wird er Barbara für sich gewinnen können? 

Angenehmer Date-Movie. Plätchert so vor sich her. Kein besonderer Film, keine neuen Ideen. Typische Romanze. Ab und zu lustig. Johnny Depp hat einen Cameo-Auftritt.

Her name she does not tell anyone. She arrives at a secluded land and gets to know the very lonely Martin. At first she is still struggling against his willingness to help ...

A simple, quiet film, who narrates with only a few funds. The scenery around Martins Haus is, so to speak, almost a soundtrack. Lotte plays convincingly an injured soul. In this film the protagonists speak few and this few makes every line fit. The small gestures count. A film that lets you rest.

Anne, einer Holländerin reist nach Irland und trampt dort durch die Wildnis. Sie ernährt sich von Resten aus der Mülltonne und verweigert fast vollständig jegliche Kommunikation. Ihren Namen verrät sie niemandem. Sie gelangt zu einer abseits gelegenen Landzunge und lernt dort den ebenfalls sehr einsamen Martin kennen. Zunächst streubt sie sich noch gegen seine Hilfsbereitschaft...

Ein schlichter, leiser und mit wenigen Mitteln erzählter Film.  Die Landschaft um Martins Haus  stellt sozusagen fast einen Soundtrack dar.  Lotte spielt überzeugend eine verletzte Seele. Es wird kaum geredet. Jede Zeile sitzt. In diesem Film zählen die kleinen Gesten. Ein Film, der einen zur Ruhe kommen lässt. 

Atomic Blonde

Cool, stylistic agent film with a very present soundtrack, which sometimes contrasts with the brutal action scenes. An incredibly frosty Charlize Theron, who once again shows that she belongs to the actor elite and is one of the best.

Berlin 1989. Eine Liste mit Namen von Spionen wurde gestohlen. Lourraine wird nach Berlin geschickt um die Liste zu finden. Doch wem kann man trauen in einer Stadt voller Spione?

Cooler, stilistischer Agentenfilm mit einem sehr präsenten Soundtrack, der manchmal 
konträr oder überspitzt zu den brutalen Actionszenen wirkt.  Eine unglaublich  frostige Charlize Theron, die mal wieder zeigt, dass sie zur  Schauspieler-Elite gehört und eine der Besten  ist.

American Made

Barry Seal is a flagship pilot and secretly smuggles Cuban cigarettes until the CIA comes to the point. But he does not get any trouble. On the contrary. He gets the order to equip the guerrilla fighters in South America with weapons, because America must oppose communism. This he does as it is demanded of him and in South America he gets also orders. He now smuggles cocaine into the states. In very large quantities, he now transports cocaine and weapons in his plane and earns himself very richly. How long is this going  fine?

A very successful film based on facts. Extremely exciting structured with a splendid achievement of Tom Cruise. This movie is really fun.

Barry Seal ist Vorzeigepilot und wirtschaftet heimlich mit kubanischen Zigaretten , bis ihm die CIA auf die Schliche kommt. Doch  Ärger bekommt er nicht. Im Gegenteil. Er soll nun die Guerilla-Kämpfer in Südamerika mit Waffen ausstatten, denn Amerika muss sich gegen den Kommunismus einsetzen. Dies tut er wie es von ihm verlangt wird und in Südamerika bekommt er ebenfalls Aufträge. Er soll Kokain in die Staaten schmuggeln. Dies darf die CIA jedoch nicht erfahren. In großen Zügen transportiert er nun in seinem Flieger Kokain und Waffen und verdient sich sehr reich. Wie lange geht das gut? 

Ein sehr gelungener Film der auf Tatsachen beruht. Überaus spannend strukturiert mit einer Glanzleistung von Tom Cruise. Dieser Film macht wirklich viel Spaß. 

Magnolia (1999)

This is an episodic film that interweaves different stories. We see a nervous Claudia, who is cocaine addicted and whose father, who moderates a quiz, did bad things to her. She gets to know the police officer Jim, who makes a house search with her. Jim is immediately in love with Claudia. It is also about the dead-sick producer Earl, whose young woman Linda, now has self-accusations, since she married him only because of the money and cheated on him several times. Linda wants to reject the legacy. And it is about Frank, the son of Earl, who now makes proletarian und misogynic speeches. In addition, the film is about Don, who was once a Quizmasterkid and is now unhappily in love with a bartender. All this happens in just one day.

This film illuminates unhappy father-child relationships and tells of a truly multi-layered and emotional way about psychological distress. Contrary to this are messengers, who have a lot of understanding. A thrilling drama with a fantastic Julianne Moore, who plays dedicative. Must see!

Dies ist ein Episodenfilm, der verschiedene Stories miteinander verflechtet. Wir sehen eine nervöse Claudia, die kokainsüchtig ist und deren Vater, der eine Quizsendung moderiert, sie nicht ausstehen kann. Sie lernt den Polizisten Jim kennen, der bei ihr eine Hausdurchsuchung macht. Jim ist sofort verliebt in Claudia. Desweiteren geht es um den  todkranken Produzenten Earl, dessen junge Frau Linda, nun Selbstvorwürfe hat, da sie ihn nur wegen des Geldes geheiratet hat und etliche male fremd ging. Linda  möchte das Erbe ausschlagen. Und es geht um  Frank, der Sohn von Earl, der mit Machotechniken und frauenfeindlichen  Aufreißermethoden , die er in einem Buch veröffentlicht hat, nun Vorträge macht und seine Familie verleugnet.  Außerdem  handelt der Film von Don, der damals Quizmasterkind war und jetzt unglücklich in einen Barkeeper verliebt ist. All dies geschieht an nur einem Tag.  

Dieser Film beleuchtet  unglückliche Vater-Kind -Beziehungen und erzählt auf wirklich sehr vielschichtige  und emotionale Weise  von  psychischer Not . Dem gegenüber werden Helferboten gestellt, die viel Verständnis aufbringen.  Ein packendes Drama mit einer fantastischen Julianne Moore, die wirklich hingebungsvoll spielt. Unbedingt anschauen!
