One of the passengers has to be the killer, since no one else is in the near (the locomotive derailed in the blizzard). It begins an intellectual guessing and uncovering of the murder ...

Stylistically excellent production with permanently exciting plot, but a poorly convincing epic "dissolution moment", which lacks any authenticity. That can not even make up for the highly potent star formation. Too bad.

Hercule Poirot ist Meisterdedektiv und fährt auf einer Reise des Orient-Expresses mit. Auf der Reise passiert ein Mord und Poirot fängt an zu ermitteln. Einer der Mitreisenden muss der Mörder sein, da sonst kein Mensch weit und breit ist (die Lokomotive ist im Schneesturm entgleist). Es beginnt ein intellektuelles Rätselraten und Aufdecken des Mordes...

Stilistisch hervorragende Produktion mit dauerhaft spannendem Plot, jedoch einem mangelhaft überzeugendem epischen "Auflösungsmoment", der jeglicher Authentizität entbehrt. Das kann auch das hochpotenzielle Staraufgebot nicht wett machen. Schade.

Katrine will marry in a few days. Her former lover Thomson, who was also the lover of her sister (who is now locked up in psychiatry) turns up. Thomson magically attracts Katrine with his spontaneity and zest for life, and they experience funny as well as sad things that they both weld together. What will happen to the wedding?

Predictable movie with some cute ideas. Mediocre story. Not well-drafted script. Nevertheless, not boring, because the dogma guidelines sprayed this film a certain charm of realism, against the mainstream taste.

Katrine wird in wenigen Tagen heiraten. Da taucht ihr ehemaliger Liebhaber Thomson auf, der ebenfalls der Liebhaber ihrer Schwester war, die jetzt in der Psychiatrie eingesperrt ist. Thomson  zieht Katrine mit seiner Spontanität und  Lebenslust magisch an und sie erleben  lustige aber auch traurige Dinge zusammen, die sie beide zusammen schweißen. Was wird nun aus der Hochzeit?

Vorhersehbarer Film mit einigen niedlichen Ideen. Mittelmäßige Story.  Nicht gut genug ausgearbeitetes Drehbuch. Trotzdem nicht langweilig, denn durch die Dogma-Richtlinien versprüht dieser Film einen gewissen Charme des Realismus, gegen den Mainstream-Geschmack.

Patricia Dombrowski is called "Dumbo" by the other ghetto people because she is chubby. She dreams of becoming famous as a rapper, but works in simple part-time jobs and still lives with her mother, who is anything but enthusiastic about the idea of becoming a rapper. In her free time, she meets her  indian buddy Jheri and they rap together. Then she meets Basterd at a concert and follows him to the hut behind the cemetery, where he leads a hermit life. Together, they create the first songs and have support from Patti's grandmother, but the first successes are a long time coming and Patti awaits many hurdles that are emotionally very hurtful ...

An incredibly good acting and good rapping Danielle Macdonald steals the show to all the other actors. An absolute surprise hit. Must see. So far the best movie of the year.

Patricia Dombrowski wird "Dumbo" genannt von den anderen Ghetto-Leuten, weil sie dick ist. Sie träumt davon, als Rapperin berühmt zu werden, arbeitet aber in einfachen Teil-Zeit-Jobs und lebt noch bei ihrer Mutter, die alles andere als begeistert von der Idee ist. In der Freizeit trifft sie sich mit ihrem indischen Kumpel Jheri und sie rappen zusammen. Dann begegnet sie Basterd auf einem Konzert und folgt ihm in die Hütte hinter dem Friedhof, wo er ein Einsiedlerleben führt. Zusammen kreieren sie die ersten Songs und haben Unterstützung von Pattis Oma, doch die ersten Erfolge lassen auf sich warten und Patti erwartet viele Hürden, die auch emotional sehr verletzend sind...

Eine unglaublich gut schauspielernde und gut rappende Danielle Macdonald stiehlt allen anderen Schauspielern die Show. Ein absoluter Überraschungshit. Unbedingt  ansehen.  Bis jetzt der beste Kinofilm des Jahres.

It's going completly banana in the Goethe comprehensive school. This stall is uncontrollable. Mr. Müller has promised his abnormal students to cheat them through A-level. But they have to pass an attainment test of the 11th grade. Furthermore, a student jumps from the roof of the school in the hope he can fly. Chantal is looking for a more suitable girlfriend for her boyfriend and gets targeted by suicide lovers. As if that were not all, the new school statue gets overthrown ...

School-boy humour on the lowest level with a certain charm, you have to admit. The movie does not make sense at all, from start to the end and the logic breaks are huge, but you can still watch it with your friends and have fun.

In der Goethe-Gesamtschule geht es mal wieder ab. Diese Bude ist unkontrollierbar. Herr Müller hat seinen abnormen Schülern versprochen, sie durchs Abitur zu mogeln. Doch aus diesem Plan wird nichts: Sie müssen einen Leistungstest der 11. Klasse absolvieren. Desweiteren springt ein Schüler vom Dach in der Hoffnung er kann fliegen. Chantal sucht für ihren Freund eine passendere Freundin und gerät ins Visier von Selbstmordverliebten. Als wenn das noch nicht alles wäre, wird die neue Schul-Statue gestürzt...

Pennälerhumor auf unterstem Niveau mit einem gewissen Charme, das muss man zugeben. Der Film macht von vorne bis hinten keinen Sinn und die Logikbrüche sind gewaltig, trotzdem kann man ihn mit seinen Freunden gucken und Spaß haben.

His brother is murdered by a mafiosi and Zaid isnt satisfied by the police work to solve the crime. So he sets off on his own and dives into the underworld of Copenhagen to find the killer ...

This is not only a thrilling thriller a la John Wick, but also an interesting milieu study. Poignantly is shown here what can happen if the integration of refugees fails. In a dualistic way, a brother couple is shown here who could not be farther apart and yet is close. A bleak Copenhagen with a lot of shady characters are the breeding ground for this action-packed, dramatic film. Much more profound and well-made than the reference John Wick.

Zaid, ein Chirurg, lebt mit seiner schwangeren Frau in einer luxuriösen Wohnung eines Hochhauses. Sein Bruder verlangt von ihm sehr viel Geld, da er in großen Schwierigkeiten steckt. Zaid  gibt ihm kein Geld.  Sein Bruder wird ermordet von einem Mafiosi und Zaid  reicht die Polizeiarbeit zur Aufklärung des Verbrechens nicht aus. Also macht er sich selbst auf den Weg und taucht in die Unterwelt Copenhagens ein um den Mörder zu finden...

Dies ist nicht nur ein packender Thriller ala John Wick, sondern auch eine interessante Milieu-Studie. Bewegend  wird hier gezeigt, was passieren kann, wenn die Integration von Flüchtlingen scheitert. Auf dualistische Weise wird hier ein Bruderpaar gezeigt, das weiter voneinander entfernt nicht sein könnte und sich doch nahe ist.  Ein düsteres Kopenhagen mit jeder Menge zwielichtiger Gestalten bilden den Nährboden für diesen actiongeladenen, dramatischen Film.  Viel tiefsinniger und gelungener als die Vorlage John Wick.

Mauser is very much in love and while he prepares for his boxing match he can think of nothing more than Jackie. But there is also Edda, who regularly writes him postcards with cryptic content and obviously has an interest in him, which he can not share at first ....

The German surprise hit of the year 2017. Clever dialogues, leaps in time, psychedelic drug trip including a feast of colors and lights, bizarre ideas, great setting and actors that give the movie an authentic frame. Very successful, not only for teenagers.

Mauser, ein jugendlicher Boxer lebt in einer Wohnsiedlung in Hamburg. Bei einer illegalen Party im Freibad verliebt er sich in Jackie, die aus eher betuchten Verhältnissen stammt. Mauser ist sehr verliebt und kann währrend er sich auf seinen Boxkampf vorbereitet an nichts anderes mehr denken als Jackie. Aber da gibt es auch Edda, die ihm regelmäßig Postkarten mit kryptischen Inhalt schreibt und offensichtlich Interesse an ihm hat, welches er aber zunächst nicht teilen kann....

Der deutsche Überraschungshit des Jahres 2017.   Pfiffige Dialoge, Zeitsprünge,  psychedelischer Drogentrip inklusive ein Fest von Farben und Lichtern, skurrile Ideen,  großartiges Setting und Schauspieler, die dem einen authentischen Rahmen geben. Sehr gelungen, nicht nur für Teenager.
