Willie visits his hometown on the occasion of a class meeting. He is faced with the decision whether to marry his girlfriend Tracy. The 13-year-old neighbor girl Marti he likes very much and he tells a friend that he would wait until she is 19. Marti reveals Willie that she likes him too and he should wait until she is eighteen. In the meantime Paul makes his ex-girlfriend with Andera jealous during a dance. He does not get over that she is now together with a butcher. Darian, the highschool love of Tom, is married and has a daughter, but bills and coos with Tom and soon there is anger ... It is therefore about mid-twenties men who are looking for their love ...

 A warm-hearted movie about the growing up of mid-twenty guys in a small town. Nathalie Portman plays excellently. Overall a great star-ensemble. Rosie O'Donell's monologue during a shopping is brilliant.

Willie besucht seine Heimatstadt anlässlich eines Klassentreffens. Er steht vor der Entscheidung, ob er seine Freundin Tracy heiraten soll. Das 13-jährige Nachbarmädchen Marti mag er sehr und er sagt einem Freund, er würde warten, bis sie 19 ist. Marti offenbart Willie, dass sie ihn auch sehr mag und er solange warten soll, bis sie 18 Jahre ist. Unterdessen macht Paul seine Ex-Freundin mit Andera eifersüchtig bei einem Tanz. Er kommt nicht darüber hinweg, dass sie nun mit einem Fleischer zusammen ist. Darian, die Highschool-Liebe von Tom, ist zwar verheiratet und hat eine Tochter, turtelt aber mit Tom rum und bald gibt es Ärger... Es geht also um  mittzwanziger Männer, die ihre Liebesperspektive für die Zukunft suchen...

Ein warmherziger Film über das Erwachsenwerden von mittzwanziger Kerle in einer Kleinstadt. Nathalie Portman spielt hervorragend. Insgesamt ein tolles Star-Ensemble. Rosie O'Donells Monolog währrend eines Einkaufs ist glänzend.
