Wonderful family movie.
Vada wächst als Tochter eines Bestattungsunternehmers auf und wird täglich mit dem Tod konfrontiert, wodurch sie eine Hypochondrie entwickelte und fast täglich zum Doktor rennt mit immer neuen "Todesursachen". Es sind Sommerferien und ihr Vater Harry bekommt weibliche Unterstützung von Kosmetikerin Shelly. Vada fühlt sich von ihrem Vater vernachlässigt , da er Shelley mehr Aufmerksamkeit zuteil lässt.
